4

Apply consistency rules

Before you copy your link, TrackFunnels automatically runs your configured consistency rules against the values you entered. Common rules include:
  • Auto-lowercasing — converts Google to google so GA4 never sees duplicate sources that differ only by case.
  • Approved value lists — flags or blocks any source, medium, or campaign name that isn’t on your team’s approved list.
  • Naming conventions — enforces separators (e.g., underscores instead of spaces) so values are human-readable in GA4 reports.
If a value fails a rule, TrackFunnels highlights the field and tells you exactly what to fix before the link is generated. This keeps your GA4 data clean without requiring every team member to memorize the style guide.
You configure consistency rules in your account settings. Set them once and they apply to every link your entire team builds.
5

Copy and use your UTM link

Once all fields pass validation, click Copy Link to copy the complete tagged URL to your clipboard. Paste it directly into:
  • A Google Ads or Meta Ads destination URL field
  • An email campaign CTA button
  • A social media post or bio link
  • Any other channel where you need attribution data
TrackFunnels automatically saves every link you generate to your Saved Links dashboard. From there you can search, filter, copy, or share any previously created link — no need to rebuild it from scratch next time.
Use the Labels field in the Saved Links dashboard to tag links by campaign, channel, or team member so they’re easy to find later.
